Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Muhammad Musa Bello, has admonished residents of the FCT to continue to support government’s programmes and policies designed for the benefit and wellbeing of Nigerians. Describing the outgoing year as very important and significant in the socio-political development of Nigeria due to the general elections and other events, the minister expressed gratitude to the residents for their cooperation and peaceful conduct during the elections and complementary events. He said, “2019 was an important year in the socio-political development of the country because of the 2019 general elections, which culminated in an unforgettable Democracy Day celebrations. He said in doing so, they should see the new year as another opportunity to continue to contribute meaningfully to nation-building in the next decade and beyond. He noted that without the sacrifices of patriots through successive generations, the country would not have survived until today.
